Bio

John started riding when he was 12 years old. His dad would take him to a small airport and let him ride on the weekends.

He got the racing bug while living in California, riding at Palomar Mountain and hanging out at Lee Shierts shop in San Diego in the early 90s.

John moved home to Indiana and joined WERA in 1995. Over the last 10 years John has put 4 seasons in running Pro AMA Superbike and Superstock with top 10 finishes and 6 years of endurance riding. The last 5 years of endurance riding have been with Vesrah Suzuki.

John’s 3 most memorable races started with his 13th place finish in his first Daytona 200 in 1997 aboard a Pirelli equipped Suzuki 750 Superstock machine back when Superbike still beat up the banks of Daytona. The other 2 races came at Putnam Park with two hard fought battles with teammates Tray Batey and Mark Junge in 750 and 600 Superstock, winning both races and eventually winning the 600 Superstock championship in 2002.
